Grandparents Day
It was organised on 8th of September in the Pärnu library and was full of different activities: making crafts (eco gift bags), telling stories and playing old games, meanwhile decorate a postcard and send it (also special postcards with photos by Kalju Mihkelson were made), there was a photography exhibition opening where were dance performances by children and songs by elderly singing group (one mutual performance made especially for this occation). In the evening there was a special theatre performance which required the audience to make sounds and react in a certain way. It was by a young actress Maaja Hallik who made the play based on her greatgrandmother's journals about the deportation to Siberia. As the audience was elderly people, then many of then were overwhelmed. The family day was ended with a great, great concert by young music school talents who could have beat with their skill also the professional musicians.
The feedback of the day has been very positive.
