A photo from me to you
In August 2012 gathered 14 photography-interested youngsters aged 12-16 in Pärnu library to learn about photograhy and about each other. The methods used were creative, non-formal and different. Youngsters could imitate the situations from the old photos (taken by Kalju Mihkelson), draw their portrait and old photos on a plastic, rehearse different skills, make photo stories, listen to a real photographer and also present their own idols. There were special tasks with the one-time cameras, press photo task (to take picture of the REAL minister of culture), go around the city to photo hunt and a workshop of pin-hole camera. There was a lot to do and in the end was a real photography exhibition made.
The exhibition opened on the 8th of September 2012 on the grandparents day celebration. It will be up in the local super mall and next will travel to the schools.
